Past Athens WING events 2007 Saturday, December 8thOur first meeting!
We were surprised and happy about the enthusiasm of the more than 30 women who joined us that morning in the beautiful venue of the Netherlands Institute. Monika Nagy, President of TOWER (The Organization for Women Employment and Resources) in Thessaloniki spoke about the "Purpose and functioning of a professional women’s network’" Their successful network was officially started in 2005. Monika’s talk was followed by Theresia Remoundos, Business and life coach, who spoke about the "Challenges of living and working in Greece".
We were cordially received in the Netherlands Institute of Athens and thanks to the warm atmosphere there was immediately a lot of network activity. The women present discovered others who had to cope with the same problems in Athens about starting your own business, raising your children, spending your free time, knowing what you really want to do, etc.
We provide eight events throughout the year where we create a warm and open environment to all members and guests to meet and network. We invite innovative and creative guest speakers to give informative talks about various topics from professional and personal development to environmental updates to new trends in society.
